be take if I am already suffering from a cold or flu?
Yes! Although it is always a good idea to help prevent illness
by strengthening the body's immune system, coating your whole digestive tract
with this immune boosting lozenge is beneficial at all stages of cold's and
flu's.
Is the manufacture date on the bottle the
expiration date?
No, this is the actual day the product was created in our
manufacturing facility.
Where is Throat Biotics™
Manufactured?
Throat Biotics is manufactured in the U.S.A. and all the probiotics are cultured
in the U.S.A. as well in an FDA regulated facility.
Does Throat Biotics™
have live probiotic organisms after being on the shelf for a period of time?
Yes, Throat Biotics will remain viable for 18 months following the
manufacture date on the bottle.
Does Throat Biotics™
have to be refrigerated?
No, Throat Biotics uses a proprietary process that has proven stable
when kept at room temperature in a tightly closed bottle. Keeping it in a
dry cool place will always prolong the life expectancy.
Can I take Throat Biotics everyday for maintenance?
Yes, Throat Biotics contains essential minerals and probiotics that are needed
in our everyday diet and safe to consume up to the recommended doses daily.
Can Children Take Throat Biotics™
Yes, as long as the child can safely suck or chew the lozenge.
However, younger children should not take more than 2 per day since that would
place them over the daily requirement of selenium, a trace mineral, antioxidant,
and immune booster that should be taken up to the RDA recommended dose per age
proper doses. Each lozenge has 10mcg of selenium. Please see the
chart below if you are unsure:
Normal daily recommended intakes for selenium are generally
defined as follows:
- Birth to 3 years of age: 10 to 20 micrograms (mcg)
per day.
- 4 to 6 years of age: 20 mcg per day.
- 7 to 10 years of age: 30 mcg per day.
- Adolescent and adult males—40 to 70 mcg per day.
- Adolescent and adult females—45 to 55 mcg per day.
- Pregnant females—65 mcg per day.
- Breast-feeding females—75 mcg per day.
